If a suitable amount of parking isn’t found, the county government will be left with $224,000 bill for the renourishment that the state government won’t pay, according the Times article.

In order to fill the parking spaces, the Belleair Beach government would need to find at least three parking lots to utilize for beach access. Currently, there is only one and the cost is $400,000, according to the Times.
