Always respected Belleair for keeping the real Florida real. Not full of huge house after houseRead More after condo after condo blocking the Gulf. Sadly, Money talks, then destroys what people came there for in the first place.

I live in a 1950's 1200sqft house less than 2 blocks away between the gulf and the bay. The realRead More world is if you have the money to build this, BUILD IT! If I ever could, I would also and I should be able to without having angry neighbors but happy ones. What do you expect someone to build on a $2,000,000 piece of gulf front land? a 1200 sq ft house like mine?! Lets be serious. Its just not realistic. Do I like driving down the road and seeing the Gulf...ofcourse! but I don't have the money to buy the property, keep it vacant and can continue that view so Im glad to even live in a neighborhood where someone would consider building a house like this in. Be thankful for what you have instead of hateful towards those who have more. All of us talking about this are somewhat local and shouldn't be complaining. I grew in the Bronx, NY. Try living there for a week now and you would wish to be back in this area with EVERY house around you built this size.

Your child can start playing tackle football at age 5, but most play flag first. When these veryRead More young kids run into each other, it's not much of an impact to be honest. I'm not saying they never give each other a good hit because it happens occasionally. I never thought of it as dangerous, though. One important note; if the helmet is making the hit, the kid is doing it wrong, and the coach will say so. A high impact helmet to helmet hit is dangerous. I watched my oldest nephew play football from age 7 into high school. He had a concussion which resulted from an under inflated helmet used during a hard hit in practice. He also had a huge helmet-to-helmet hit during a game. The risk is real, but the benefits are many; confidence, competition, brotherhood, team play, and physical fitness, to name a few.

Being in automobile accidents causes more deaths, so do motor-scooters/motor-cycles, skateboards,Read More etc....all kill more kids than football.....! Kids cannot be wrapped & stored away to keep them safe. They must learn to cope with and to withstand adversity.
