Riptides is a friendly neighborhood bar. Located on Blind Pass Road just off the intersection of 75th Avenue, it has been featuring a shot in honor of the Gulf oil spill, the Tony Hayward, of which $2 of the proceeds go to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary. This act of charity, plus the fun indoor/outdoor atmosphere, has helped make Riptides a popular spot since it opened in early 2010.
