Opened in 1939, this historic theater was the first building to be built on Corey Avenue. It has been independently owned and operated since. Specializing in independent and foreign films, the theater is also known for screenings of classic movies, sometimes with tickets priced at what they were when the movie was released. In addition to its film screenings, the Beach Theater has also been known to host special events such as concerts, video game nights and regular live shows to accompany Saturday night screenings of the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
