Get Gangster for Lizard Live at the Sirata

While a lof of our furry friends need homes and help, too often we forget to lend a helping hand for our scaly pets.

The third annual Lizard Live event at the Sirata Beach Resort, 5300 Gulf Blvd., St. Pete Beach, is looking to raise money to help out the Gulf Coast Iguana Sanctuary and Pet Pals of St. Petersburg.

The event's theme is called Gatsby and Gangsters, so make sure to break out the pinstripes and flapper dresses if you plan to attend. 

There'll be contests and food thoughout the night, as well as a silent auction.

Dogs and iguanas will be out at the event and there's going to be live music by a band with a fitting name, The Horny Toads.
