Fundraiser for Drowning Victim's Family

Staff members of Campbell Park Elementary Marine Science Center will be parking cars at July 13th's Rays game to benefit the family of the child who drowned in Pass-A-Grille.

Staff members at Campbell Park Elementary Marine Science Center will be holding a fundraiser to raise money to support the the family of Ricardo Galloway, the 7-year-old who drowned off the coast of Pass-A-Grille

Staff members will be parking cars at the upcoming Rays game against the Red Sox at Tropicana Field.

The staff will begin parking cars at 5 p.m., two hours before the game, and will be donating all the proceeds to the family of Ricardo Galloway.

The family approached the school for assistance and and the staff agreed to help out.

Ricardo Galloway was found facedown in the Gulf off of Pass-A-Grille on the evening of July 1st. After CPR was attempted, he was transported to All Childrens Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
