The fourth of July is coming up tomorrow and you could spend the day enjoying some beach time at Madeira.
Madeira Beach is having an all-day beach party at Archibald Park celebrating the Fourth of July in truly beach way.
The event includes lots of events for both young and old, including a hula-hoop contest, a gyrosphere and a special kids area.
There'll also be a tiki bar set up specifically for the day that'll be serving up Corona specials, beer buckets and frozen cocktails.
If you're looking for music, there'll be three bands throughout the day. Horses Wild at 1:30 p.m., Exit 28 at 4 p.m. and Full Fledged Unit at 7 p.m.
For those looking for the traditional Fourth of July fare, fireworks will be kicking off at 9 p.m.
All money gained from the event will benefit the Madeira Beach 9/11 Memorial.
Parking will be at the Madeira Beach ball fields at 200 Rex Place. The parking costs $10 and there'll be a shuttle from the fields to the park.
You can bring your normal beach items, like chairs and umbrellas, but leave the coolers and alcoholic beverages. There's plenty to purchase on site.
