This week seems to have flown by at record speed! Of course, I know that time did not actually speed up. But sometimes, when things get extra busy, it can seem that way.
I learned an important word this week: TOLERANCE!

Its real importance is in its meaning. To me, it means patience, understanding and caring for others, even those who are very different from us. It means letting people be themselves without ridicule or bullying. It means letting them live their life without fear of aggression toward them.
My pals, for instance, are very different from me. Some are little and some are big; some have long fur and some have little fur at all. Some of my pals have long pedigrees and some were adopted from a rescue shelter. When we are at the dog park, some of my pals run swiftly and some are rather clumsy.

But they are all my friends, and their differences make each special and unique in his or her own way. If all of my pals and acquaintances were exactly the same, it would get a little boring. It’s the same with my 2-legged friends, as well. I think it’s great! What do you think?
My tip this week: Show tolerance to those around you. Look at others in a positive light. Nothing truly good comes from negativity.
