Indian Rocks Beach Concerned About Noise

Residents in Indian Rocks Beach have been vocal in their concerns about noise from motorcycles.

Residents in Indian Rocks Beach voiced their disapproval about motorcycle noise in a commission meeting on November 29, according to the Belleair Bee.

Citizens of the beach remarked that something had to be done about the noise issue.

The community police officer of Indian Rocks Beach suggesting pulling over bikers violating the noise ordinance and bikers with modified exhaust systems.

A report is being processed that will go to both the City Commission and the Sheriff’s Office and they will decide on what actions should be taken.

Complaints on motorcycle noise? That is so last century. How about complaints on some of the sound systems in cars? Especially those ones who have the exterior speakers. Nail 'em! And why we are at it how about some big time fines for these obnoxious headlights/driving lights people have. You know the ones I am talking about.

I have a complaint about people in cars not seeing people on motorcycles and hitting and killing them. At least if they can't see us - maybe they will hear us.... It's a safety issue.
