Careful With Those Grass Clippings, Redington Shores Official Warns

Vice Mayor John Branch says the illegal act costs the town thousands of dollars in sewer cleaning expenses, the Beach Beacon reports.

A St. Pete Beach official warns residents not to blow grass clippings into gutters, or it could cost you.

“You’re going to get a ticket sooner or later,” Vice Mayor John Branch said at a recent city commission meeting, the Beach Beacon reports.

Branch said it can cost the town thousands of dollars in sewer cleaning expenses.
