Video: Obama Volunteers Ecstatic After Victory

The Barack Obama campaign volunteers in Pinellas County were overjoyed by the fact that their hard work for the presidential run paid off.

When the election was called in favor of President Barack Obama, the celebration started at the campaign office in St. Petersburg.

"We won Pinellas County and we won the entire country. It's just amazing," said Mallory Stewart Robison, an Obama campaign volunteer.

Obama's re-election didn't come as a given for any of the campaign workers, who put in months of hard work promoting Obama's mission, Stewart Robison said.

"I've been (at the campaign office) so much, and it's hard to believe that it's actually over," Steward Robison said.

NBC News called the presidential election for Obama around 11:15 EST. Florida votes were still too close to call Tuesday night, but Obama won the majority of votes in Pinellas County.
