Annual Sea Oats Planting Needs Volunteers

St. Pete Beach is looking for volunteers to help stabilize the coast.

St. Pete Beach was recently named one of the best beaches in the world, and the St. Pete Beach Government is looking for your help to keep it that way.

The City of St. Pete Beach has partnered with Pinellas County Environmental Management, the Sirata Beach Resort, and The Florida Aquarium for a large-scale Wild Sea Oat planting event

Wild Sea Oats planted at beaches help to stabilize and establish dune systems that prevent erosion and create habitats for wildlife.
