A 38-year-old Bradenton woman was killed Saturday night after she was hit by a Cadillac while crossing U.S. 301 shortly after 9 p.m., according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Lowsandra D. Seabrooks was heading east across U.S. 301 at 30th Avenue East when she walked into the path of the 1989 Fleetwood Cadillac, driven by Brian Brownsell, 60, of South Pasedena, Fl.
The right front of the car hit Seabrooks, who died at the scene, according to the FHP report. Seabrooks was not inside the crosswalk when she was hit, according to the report.
