Indian Rocks Beach to Host Public Safety Day

Come out to see the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Marine Unit, Flight Unit, K-9 Unit demonstration and more in Indian Rocks Beach this Saturday.

Come out on Saturday, August 24 and watch a Pinellas County K-9 Unit demonstration in Indian Rocks Beach.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and Suncoast Fire Rescue are pairing up for a first ever Public Safety Day from 4 - 6 p.m. at Kolb Park - located on Bay Palm Boulevard between 15th and 16th Avenues.

There will be free food and drinks for guests and static displays for public safety information. Vehicles in display include cruisers, S.W.A.T., Marine Unit, Environmental Lands Unit, Flight Unit, Historic Cruiser and the Suncoast Fire Rescue Trucks and Suncoast Fire Rescue Watercraft, according to the event listing on the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

The K-9 demonstration will be held inside Indian Rocks Beach City Hall at 5 p.m. City Hall is right next to the park at 1507 Bay Palm Blvd.
