Sweet Potato Fries Cooked in Truffle Oil Are Amazing

Fresh sweet potato fries seasoned only with sea salt are perfect. Frying the potatoes in truffle oil makes them more flavorful.

I’ve been meaning to blog this recipe for weeks. Why? Well, probably because I’m newly obsessed and have been making these on a weekly basis for about a month now.

My obsession with sweet potato fries isn’t new, just the obsession with this recipe. In fact, I get sweet potato fries every chance I get. My favorite of all time? The sweet potato fries at Three Birds Tavern! Uh-mazing.

Health Benefits

Sweet potato- excellent source of vitamins B & C, good source of magnesium and potassium, high in beta carotene.
Sea salt-less processed than table salt, has alkalizing properties and is helpful for a strong immune system

Fresh sweet potato fries seasoned only with sea salt are perfect. But at home, the answer to making something awesome even more awesome is truffle oil. Therefore I give you truffle oil sweet potato fries- heaven. I just love the parts that slightly burn…so much flavor!

Make these fries with your next burger. Or just sit down to a big old bowl of them. Your choice.

Sweet Potato Fries

Directions
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Grease a large cookie sheet and set aside. In a bowl, mix together sweet potatoes with the olive oil, chili powder, and sea salt. Spread the fries evenly in single layer on your baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, then turn and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until crispy.Enjoy!

Wow, Jordyn! Those fries look tasty. Is it hard to find Truffle Oil? Does Publix sell it?

Three Bird's truffle oil fries are good, no doubt, but there's a new king of all the sweet potato fries in the whole wide world...and it's in St. Pete. Engine No9 (56 Dr MLK Jr N) totally rocks these like no other.
