PHOTOS: An Underwater Engagement Photo Shoot

Check out these unique engagement shots from a Madeira Beach-based photographer.

If you've seen one couple's engagement photos, you've seen them all, right?

Not if you've seen these shots from local photographer Amanda Trail, who recently had two of her clients pose underwater in celebration of the occasion.

Trail, 28, is the proprietor of alt Photography, which specializes in weddings and special events. Last June, she shot this couple's photos in the pool at a private residence in St. Petersburg, along with beach scenes taken on Pass-A-Grille. The couple, Nicolette and Brett, are due to be wed at the end of this month.

Trail, a St. Pete resident, runs her photo business out of a John's Pass shop called The Artist's Loft on the Pass, which primarily sells work from a group of local artists. The store will celebrate its one-year anniversary in March.

"Been a long road, but we are here!" Trail said by email.
