PHOTOS: $1.5 Million Redington Shores 'Green' Home Will Cost Some Green
Dubbed "Casa Verde," this environmentally friendly home is on the market.
This incredibly "green" Redington Shores home is on the market — and with a listing price of $1.52 million, you'll have to spend a lot of green to get it.
The home at 116 Wall St. — dubbed "Casa Verde" by builder and owner Louis Sanchez, according to the Beach Beacon — is solar powered and comes with a Home Energy Rating that the AOL Real Estate listing calls "one of the lowest in the Southeast."
For the amount its next owner will be shelling out, at least he or she will be able to save on energy bills, in addition to saving the environment. Sanchez told the Beacon he averages just $100 a month on his electric bill — not bad for a 4,295-square-foot home.
