I have seen more patrols in my neighborhood in the last few days then I have in the last few years! I am so thankful for the Sheriff Dept.

From what I've heard, they are cracking down on illegal public drinking, drunk driving and other illegal and unsafe activities. This can only be a good thing for all.

It is sincerely hoped that Pinellas County will do a better job of enforcing the noise ordinances that the bars at 76th and Sunset Way in St Pete Beach have been flouting for years. There is no excuse for these bars to broadcast loud, amplified music outdoors that is a major nuisance to those who live across Blind Pass in Treasure Island.
