'You Couldn't Ask for Much Better Weather,' Forecaster Says

Rain chances are almost nonexistent as the weekend gets under way.

Pinellas residents hoping for a nice, sunny weekend so they can enjoy the outdoors might just be in luck.

“You couldn’t ask for much better weather,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Andrew McKaughan.

Rain chances throughout the weekend are scant, McKaughan said, and highs aren’t quite expected to break the 90 mark in the Tampa Bay area. Expect morning lows in the mid to upper 60s.
