WEATHER ALERT: County Activates Cold Night Shelters
Pinellas County officials announced Tuesday that local cold weather shelters will be open through the night, as temperatures continue to drop in Florida.
The following is a news release issued by the county of Pinellas Tuesday morning:
The cold night shelters for the homeless will remain open tonight (Tuesday, January 7, 2014).

The shelters open at approximately 6 p.m., accept guests all night long, and close the following morning at approximately 6 a.m. Shelter guests are provided a hot evening meal, a warm safe place to spend the night, and breakfast the following morning.
