Valentine's Day Outings That Don't Break the Bank
Want to treat your special someone, but you're light on cash? Here are some great ideas for spending the evening in a romantic way without spending a lot of cash.
Here's your friendly Patch reminder that Valentine's Day is coming up and you better remember to treat your sweetheart. If you don't have much money to spend, there are lots of things you can do to be romantic on the beaches, without emptying your wallet.
Walking down the beach: This is the tried and true romantic outing. Our beaches are beautiful and a walk down the sand can make for a wonderful and memorable day. For optimum romance, make sure to check them out at sunset.
Go for a beach bike ride: While not traditionally romantic, the beach has lots of great places to rent bikes, if you don't have one, that you can take around Gulf Boulevard. The bike ride will give you and your sweetheart plenty of time to relax and chat!

Cool Down with Ice Cream: You may not be able to make a reservation at a restaurant, but you can still get a great dessert for cheap. There are tons of ice cream shops on the beaches. It's a a great way to end your day with your special someone.
