Dec. 21, 2012: Where to Watch the World End on the Beach

Some may say doomsday is coming, but we've got the best areas to watch it on the beach.

Some people are predicting that the world will come to an end this Friday with the end of Mayan Long Count calendar.

Whether it will happen or not remains to be seen, but it definitely will be a great night to get out. Who wants to stay at home for the apocalypse?

The beaches are one of the best places to hit up for the coming cataclysm. Here are some of favorite places to check out on 12/21/2012.

  1. The Southern Tip of Pass-A-Grille: It's going to be quiet, but you can enjoy the waves crashing in and get some serenity while the world ends. Plus, there's the bonus of having great restaurants nearby for your last meal!
  2. Under the bridge of John's Pass: Hiding under a bridge is probably going to be about as effective as duck and cover campaign in the 50's, but it can't hurt. It can't hurt to grab some fishing while your at it though.
  3. Caddy's: If it's the end of the world, why not feel fine? Grab a drink and dance the last night away.

If the world is coming to an end, where would you spend your last night at? Where do you plan on being Friday night? Let us know in the comments.
