Beach Nourishment at Redington and Indian Shores

Beach Nourishment continues across the beaches and Jim "Mack" McAvaddy got some great photos of the process.

Beach Nourishment is one of the continual procedures that goes on our beaches to help keep the shore healthy and beautiful.

Beach nourishment (and renourishment) is what puts the beach back. The process involves dredging sand from nearby shoals and channels, and spitting it up onto beaches in need.

After Tropical Storm Debby hit this year, many of the beaches have been in need of the nourishment process.
