Community Service Foundation Announces its 18th Annual Golf Classic

The Community Service Foundation will hold its 18th Annual Golf Classic at Bardmoor Golf & Tennis Club on Friday, September 20, 2013. Proceeds from the tournament, a four player team scramble, will be used to support CSF’s mission to provide a healthy living environment, support services and training to help lower-income Pinellas County residents get on the path to self-sufficiency and financial stability. Community Service Foundation has a long history of service to lower income families in Pinellas County, and currently serves approximately 1,000 families and individuals annually. In addition to owning and managing affordable rental housing, CSF provides Fair Housing Counseling & Housing Placement/Assistance services to place and keep families and individuals in their homes, preventing homelessness. CSF also provides Household Budgeting workshops providing training and materials so that families and individuals can gain control of their finances, and CSF’s First Time Homebuyer education seminars help families and individuals become homeowners, creating a long-lasting benefit for them, and for communities in Pinellas County.
