VIDEO: 'He's Lost Touch,' Ehrlich Says of Rep. Young

Democratic candidate Jessica Ehrlich says she's frustrated with Rep. C.W. Bill Young's lack of attendance at scheduled forums.

 

Democratic Candidate for U.S. House District 13 Jessica Ehrlich shares why she chose not to participate in the question and answer section of the Meet the Candidates Forum in Gulfport Thursday night.

Billy Young stated his father could not make it due to scheduled events in Washington D.C., including a briefing with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Young also provided printed flyers of the representatives's schedule to audience members.

It seems he has. What is very hard for me to hear is what seems to be blatant not caring about the people. And bill young seem to do that at one time. but when he told that guy who was working, and speaking about his place in life and was told, go get a job. it’s the same as those in AZ and their attitudes. Romney and Paul have the same attitudes. It’s not comfortable to hear and we all seem to show others first we aren’t up for the job we are doing or want to do instead of being able to see it ourselves. Its sad I really liked Young.

Rep Young is not the representative he was 10, 20 or even 5 years ago. More and more he just votes the "party line" without being an independent voice for his district. More and more he sends staff or "representatives" to speak for him. More and more the travel between his district and Washington DC. is too much for him. (Apparently the arrogance of "Connie" Mack who refused to debate his primary opponent has become a trend in the GOP.) It is time for Rep Young to retire with his dignity and honor intact. Those in the GOP who fought for term limits need to remind Rep Young that the "founders" did not create a House of Representative which stands for election every two years so he could spend 40+ years in Congress. The voters in Rep Young's district deserve an elected representative that is able as well as willing to serve all the voters. Sadly Rep Young is not that person today. Vote for Ms.Ehrlich or stay home as Rep Young is doing.

Rep Young is not going to be subjected to the many falsehoods that the democratic opponents use in order to demonize the opposing parties. The fact is that they have been hit squads of the left. If you investigate the claims they throw out and let the sympathetic media chew on. You will find out that what they are really all about. The fact is that the democratic party of today is not the democratic party of F.D.R. It has been hijacked by the ultra left. An element that has already proven that their economic policies have failed and their foreign policies of appeasement and " The I'm sorry" to every enemy of the U.S. they can find do not do us any good. As far as I am concerned they are not on our side.

Remember the motto of the left is " the ends justify the means" That means "by any means possible" as long as they get their way.
