Movies, Music and Food Offer Weekend Fun

Jaws will be playing on the big screen, poolside and a food truck festival is sure to satisfy any appetite. The beaches are full of activities this weekend.

1) The Dive-In Movies take place every Friday until August 10, at the St. Pete Beach Community Center. This week, get your thrill from Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster, Jaws. Most nights are kid-friendly, but due to the nature of the film, Friday’s showing will be for individuals that are 18 years and older. Doors open at 8pm and admission is $5. Since snacks and drinks will be for sale at the event, no outside coolers or food will be permitted. Movie lovers are encouraged to bring their floats, noodles and chairs to enjoy the show either in the water or on the deck.
