Sure most skateboarders would say every day is Go Skateboarding Day.

But, really, the international day for everyone and anyone to grab a deck and speed down the street is today.

The International Association of Skateboard Companies started the event in 2003 in Southern California as low-key skate sessions and BBQ. In less than a decade it blossomed into a worldwide phenomenon.

Ross Norton should be a bevy of activity all day with the skatepark's skate team showing off with demonstrations in the morning.

There is a nearly 70 percent chance of rain for the day, according to the National Weather Service. Don't let the weather get you down, there are plenty of options if you want to ollie, or try hitting every skatepark in the county.
