'Elephant' Seen on Indian Rocks Beach

The large elephant statue was brought in to welcome visitors to the Republican National Convention in Tampa.

Just over the Walsingham Bridge from Largo, Paul Jenkins has been getting calls about an elephant in his parking lot.

The large gray statue decorated with red, white and blue rests on the edge of Gulf Boulevard near Walsingham Road.

"My phone has been ringing with people asking me if I know I have an elephant in my parking lot," said Jenkins, who helps manage Crabby Bill's along with Alecia Loder.
