Comments on Treasure Island Shooting
The shooting at the Trails End Hotel in Treasure Island shocked many from around the community
Gregory Johns was shot and killed at the Trails End Hotel in Treasure Island, ending his run after impregnating his girlfriend's 11-year-old daughter.
"Things like this shouldn't happen here," said James Logan, a resident of Treasure Island.
When Logan heard about the shooting, he said that he was more shocked by the nature of Johns' crime, rather than the shooting.
Marion Kessel, a resident of Madeira Beach, felt relieved that the situation was taken care of.
"I hope that the family of the little girl can find some peace now," Kessel said.

My sister & I were there that night & yes,I`m glad it ended the way it did. I have read several articles on this & God only knows if he were still alive how many others would be harmed....robbed...raped...
