St. Pete Woman Survives Jump From Sunshine Skyway Bridge: A woman drove to the highest point of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge around 7 a.m. Thursday and jumped. After she jumped from the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, she was picked up by boaters that were nearby.

Bald Eagles Making a Comeback in Florida: The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission estimates there are 1,457 active bald eagle nests in Florida, which is a 9 percent increase since 2008.
