Lucky is an easygoing dog, perfect for a family. At 7 years old, this attractive shepherd mix is a little older, but she certainly is full of life, knows her commands and is housebroken.

Lucky is the kind of dog who can go places with you, and isn't that what makes friendships special?

Like a lot of the canines that the shelter takes in, Lucky arrived without much information. Lucky is relaxed, laid-back, a Florida kind of dog.

Lucky would make a great pet for anyone who's looking for a trustworthy companion at home and out and about.

How to Adopt

Lucky is ready to go to her forever home. She is spayed and microchipped. The adoption fee is $35 and includes the first set of shots, a collar and leash, a bag of food and a toy for the dog.

We've attached an adoption form (PDF) to make it easy.

Adopt Lucky, and we will feature your photo with your new pet on Patch, too!

How to Help

If you can't adopt, but still want to help, Animal Servces always needs volunteers.

Contact Kelli Becraft at kbecraft@co.pinellas.fl.us for more information.

Good news! Belle found a good home! Lucy is our only Adoptable at Risk at the shelter currently, so let's find her a good home! If you adopted any of our pups we featured, let us know and shoot us a photo of them in their new home! Each week that an Adoptable at Risk isn't adopted, we'll keep listing them!

About this column: Patch has partnered with Pinellas County Animal Services to bring our readers Adoptables at Risk, a weekly column that highlights dogs and cats that have overstayed at the county shelter and are in immediate need of a forever home. The shelter has limited space and must get pets adopted in a timely manner to free up kennels. Related Topics: Adoptables at Risk
