Youth Fishing Tournament: The 17th Annual Young Anglers Inshore Fishing Tournament kicks off Saturday, May 25 at Hubbard's Marina at John's Pass. Paddle Against Cancer: More than 150 paddleboarders are expected to hit the water off Treasure Island for the 3rd annual "Paddle Against Cancer" to benefit Moffitt Cancer Center. Gene Evans, a Stage 4 kidney cancer survivor, created the event to promote the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle. The paddle begins at The Club at Treasure Island, 400 Treasure Island Causeway, where a poolside celebration will also take place, from noon to 4 p.m. Last year's event raised $21,000. Paddleboarders are asked to make a $30 minimum donation. The after party is free and open to the public. For more information check out the event on our calendar.
